This course gives you the extra diving knowledge you need to dive safely to 30 metres. Build on the knowledge gained on the OWD/Junior OWD course with this course, where the diver will face new challenges and gain the experience needed to safely explore the underwater world.
The theoretical part of the course involves self-study in the afternoon or evening. The practical part of the course takes place at sea, and candidates complete 5 dives: 2x dives with emphasis on buoyancy, a navigation dive - they learn navigation techniques, a night dive and a deep dive (up to 30 metres).
There are five dives at sea in a weekend, all of which are examinations.
Delivery of the full course ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER is organised at the diving centre DC COSTRENA near Rijeka.
