This course gives you the extra diving knowledge you need to dive safely to 30 metres. Build on the knowledge gained on the OWD/Junior OWD course with this course, where the diver will face new challenges and gain the experience needed to safely explore the underwater world.

Course:

The theoretical part of the course consists of self-study and lectures in the afternoon or evening for 1 day. This is followed by a knowledge test consisting of the material for the OWD/Junior OWD Beginner Diving Course and the newly acquired skills. The practical part of the course takes place at sea and candidates complete 5 dives, namely: compulsory dives: navigation dive - learn navigation techniques, night dive and deep dive, and optional dives (to be determined by the instructor by agreement): naturalist dive, nitrox dive, load lifting dive, current dive, multi-level dive...etc.

Course requirements:

The minimum age for the Junior ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER course is 12 years, The minimum age for the ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER course is 15 years, Successful completion of the OWD or Junior OWD Beginner Diving Course, A certain number of certified dives (as evidenced by the dive log book).

What I need for the course:

Goodwill, Bathrobes and towel, ABC equipment (mask, snorkel and fins) and your own diving suit, OWD or Junior OWD card, Dive log book with logged dives.

What's included in the course price:

The price includes lectures, use of all diving equipment that the student does not have (except ABC equipment), conducting 5 dives including 2 boat dives, repetition of key exercises from the initial course, PSS KIT AOWD - which contains the international diving PSS card AOWD, diploma, book in Slovenian language, PSS stickers, Nitrox sticker, Nitrox plates, pen and Advanced Scuba Diver patch. The student pays for the services of the dive centre (use of the centre and refilling of the tanks).

Where can I dive after successfully completing the AOWD/Junior AOWD course:

In all rivers, lakes and seas of the world, paired with a diver of a higher category up to 30 metres.
