This course gives you a ticket to the underwater world, which is the basis of recreational diving. It gives you the basics for an amateur or recreational dive and is the first step on the path to becoming a diver. The course introduces students to the theory of diving (Archimedes' law - buoyancy, pressure and the effect of pressure on the body, diving equipment, breathing underwater, communicating underwater, dive planning, nitrous oxide, decompression sickness, diving safely...).
Course:
For the theoretical part of the course, you will receive access to the online classroom, where you will acquire all the theoretical knowledge you need at your own pace. Then comes the practical part, which consists of at least 3x diving exercises in the pool, depending on the dynamics of mastering certain exercises. At the end of the theoretical part of the course, there is also a knowledge test in the online classroom. This helps the students to prepare for the practical part of the course or the exam, which takes place at sea.
There are four dives in a weekend at sea, the first of which is an exam dive, and all the others serve to reinforce what has been learnt.
