Course overview:
The course theory is at least 4 days in the afternoon or evening, depending on course time-tables. This is followed by the practical part of at least 3 exercises in the pool, depending on how soon participants master an exercise. During the course, participants learn the theory of diving with self-contained diving equipment (buoyancy, pressure, and effects on the body, diving equipment, breathing underwater, underwater communication, planning dives, nitrogen narcosis, decompression sickness, safe diving, etc). All lectures include slides and videos in English language.  There is a test at the end of the theoretical part which enables the participants to be better prepared for the practical part of the course or, more precisely, the exam they have at sea. At the weekend, participants make 4 dives in the sea. The first dive is the exam, while all the other dives are meant to consolidate all the things learned and get a feeling for diving with self-contained diving equipment in the sea.
